Website Maintenance – Transfer Burgas Taxi
This project involved maintenance and optimization of an existing website targeting Russian-speaking users. Several technical and SEO improvements were implemented to enhance security, speed, and indexing.
⚙️ Implemented Tasks
- Edited
.htaccessfile to block unwanted traffic and protect the site – restricted multiple Russian IP ranges and Yandex bot; - Removed unnecessary plugins and heavy visual elements that slowed performance;
- Unblocked and re-added the site to Yandex Webmaster for better indexing;
- Performed basic SEO optimizations and metadata cleanup;
- Tested and fixed contact form email configuration;
- Optimized images and caching for improved load time.
The result was a faster, more secure, and better-optimized website with improved search visibility and user experience.
